Biography

Kathryn Perry is a research associate with the Center for Energy Studies. Her responsibilities include research related to energy issues, database management, and empirical data analysis.

Her current projects include a survey of service vessel and helicopter trips to oil and gas infrastructures in the Gulf of Mexico, a labor and port infrastructure needs study, and research on the fiscal impacts of offshore activities.

Ms. Perry holds a master's degree in city and regional planning (MCRP) from Rutgers University and a B.A. in economics from Williams College. She earned her certification from the American Institute of Certified Planners in 2001. She has served as secretary of the Louisiana Chapter of the American Planning Association and is currently professional development officer for both the capital section and the state chapter of the Louisiana APA.
