DOE Awards CES-led Research Team $1.3 Million for Clean Energy Research

Center for Energy Studies Assistant Professor Greg Upton has prepared a white paper titled, “Oil Prices and the Louisiana Budget Crisis: Culprit or Scapegoat?: An Analysis of the Implications of the Oil Price Drop on the Louisiana Budget.” In the paper, Upton examines how the oil and gas industry has contributed to both the state’s finances and economy from a historical perspective.

Wilson Receives Health Physics Society Honor

Charles A. Wilson IV, radiation safety officer for the Bennett Johnston Sr. Center for Advanced Microstructures and Devices (CAMD), was honored with the Elda E. Anderson Award, bestowed upon a young member (younger than 40 years of age) of the Health Physics Society.
