Kathryn Perry is a research associate with the Center for Energy Studies. Her responsibilities include research related to energy issues, database management, and empirical data analysis.
Her current projects include researching electric and gas utility tariffs in Louisiana, updating oil and gas infrastructure GIS databases, and comparing state oil spill prevention and response programs.
Ms. Perry holds a master's degree in city and regional planning (MCRP) from Rutgers University and a B.A. in economics from Williams College. She earned her certification from the American Institute of Certified Planners in 2001. She has served as secretary of the Louisiana Chapter of the American Planning Association and is currently professional development officer for the Chapter.
