Gregory Brian Upton, Jr., is an assistant professor at the Center for Energy Studies, and has been at CES since the summer of 2014. His research interests are related to the analysis of economic, environmental and public policy issues in energy and regulated industries.
Dr. Upton received his Ph.D, M.S. and B.S. in economics, with a focus on empirical analysis, from Louisiana State University.
He is also currently an adjunct professor in the Department of Environmental Sciences in the College of the Coast & Environment at LSU and is a member of the International Association of Energy Economics (IAEE), American Economic Association (AEA), Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (AERE), and the Southern Economic Association (SEA).
