Yunke Yu is a research associate at Louisiana State University's Center for Energy Studies. His responsibilities include preparing financial models, processing and analyzing large sets of data, and performing research related to energy issues.
Mr. Yu has worked in the Research and Development Department since 2007. His recent research project is studying the economic limit of oil and gas fields and evaluating the present value of Louisiana oil and gas reservoirs under different scenarios of commodity prices.
Mr. Yu earned a bachelor of engineering degree (Oil & Gas Transportation and Storage) from China University of Petroleum (Beijing) and a master of finance degree from Tulane University. He obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2011.
